Y'ALL (yes, I'm addressing you in my vernacular), after traveling throughout, pretty much the entire state of Alabama, save for the coast, and traveling the internet's opinion of us as a state, as well as age old stereotypes of us, such as we're racist, dumb, and backwards,(honestly, the government not helping with the dumb part), I've found my mission in life. First off, let me tell you some short comings of the state: The majority of it embraces the sport of football, basically as a religion, and if your not an Alabama Univ. football fan or Auburn Univ. football fan, your queer.(Not like gay, but weird...). The biggest county in the state, Jefferson, is going into bankruptcy, the school systems are unsatisfactory, and well, we approach most progress like a grizzly bear on steroids. SO, I see it fit that me as a citizen of this beautiful and lovely state, I should do something. Maybe through my art! I'm not sure how, but I believe I can and will find out something. I plan on working under a local political cartoonist, Scott Stantis,(well I haven't discussed this with the paper yet, but I know some peeps who work for the Birmingham News) and anywhosit, I'm gonna change this state from the inside, out! And maybe in the next 60 or 70 years(keep in mind this is a LIFEtime goal) I could help make this place something, something good, recognizable to the world as a paragon of progress. Also, I've been thinking about joining missionary work, as to spread the joy of Christ and the comfort of faith to the world.

Now I know you might be saying to your screen, "Androidskunkmonk, I could care less about your goals, I hardly know you!". But I'm not writing this just as a public declaration, but as a reminder to myself. A reminder to keep me on the path to progress no matter how hard, no matter how frightening. I will, and must, prevail in my goal!
